This finely carved and polished Southern Ovate bannerstone has a square spine on one side and an unusual spine carved with two narrow grooves on the other side of the spine. The wings of the stone are thinned to 0.2 cm. This is one of sixty-five objects accessioned into the NMNH collection from A. C. Schench. Fla. is written on the stone.
