The Butterfly Quartz bannerstone is perforated slightly off-center. One side of the spine is flat, the other more rounded. Some small chips on the edges with signs of use. This is one of several bannerstones stolen from the NMNH collection sometime between 1972 and 1979 and then anomalously returned in the mail in 1995. Ark. is written on the stone.
