Notes

This Hourglass quartz bannerstone is finely carved and polished. The perforation is 1.4 cm on one side and 1.2 cm on the other. This is one of several bannerstones stolen from the NMNH collection sometime between 1972 and 1979 and then anomalously returned in the mail in 1995. Mo. is written on the stone. Mound written in the ascension notes to indicate where this stone presumably was found.
